HomeJournal is a home maintenance app made by Foundationary Development. This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this website and when you use the app.

The short version

Using the HomeJournal app

What you enter stays on your device. Your home profile, tasks, reminders and history are stored in the app on your phone. They are not sent to us or to any server we run.

Reminders are local. Reminders are scheduled by your phone. They don't go through our servers.

Backups are yours. When you back up, the app creates a file and you choose where to save it. We never see that file. It contains your home details, so keep it somewhere you trust.

Purchases. HomeJournal is free to download, with a one-time unlock. The unlock is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own privacy policies. We don't receive your name, email or payment details.

No contractors or referrals. HomeJournal doesn't connect you with service providers and doesn't pass your information to them.
